The Department of Labour is seeking input on the new Guidelines for the Safety of Staff from the Threat of Robbery. When completed, the Guideline will:

• include information about the rights and responsibilities of people under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 and its subsequent amendments;
• reflect current good practice operating in within at-risk industries; and
• ensure that the guidance material provided around this issue is consistent with other New Zealand documents.
