Occupational Health and Safety Industry Group Conference and Exhibition

The Department of Labour is the platinum sponsor of the Occupational Health and Safety Industry Group (OHSIG) Conference and Exhibition. The conference and exhibition is being held in the Wellington Convention Centre on 26-28 October - the theme is Towards 2020 Challenges and Changes in OH&S and approximately 350 people are expected to attend over the three days. This is the second triennial OHSIG conference and brings together the major stakeholders who work in the occupational health and safety industry. They are the major providers of products and services to NZ workplaces assisting in the prevention of ill health and injury through to the safe design of workplaces including treatment providers and rehabilitation. The Department will be launching the Occupational Health and Safety Action Plan public consultation at the event.
